Overview

The Champagne OEC Round Solitaire Moissanite Ring has a single old European cut round moissanite in a champagne color sitting on a plain solitaire band with no accent stones. The OEC old European cut is an older style of round cutting that was done by hand before modern machine cutting took over. It has a smaller table, a higher crown, and larger facets compared to a modern brilliant cut. That combination gives the stone a softer, warmer look rather than the sharp, high contrast flash of a contemporary round.

The champagne color sits somewhere between a light gold and a warm beige. It is not colorless and that is the point. This stone carries a warmth that a full white moissanite simply does not have, and it shows up differently depending on the light around it cooler indoors, warmer in natural light.
